Suction that lifts instead of pressing down

Most massage pushes into you. Cupping does the opposite: gentle suction draws the skin up into the cup for that deep, gripping, unmistakable feeling. This smart cup makes the suction for you, with 6 levels from a light pull to a firm hold, so you decide exactly how deep it feels.

• Twist off the clear cup and wash it in warm, soapy water; dry it before refitting.

Questions

Is it strong enough to feel like real cupping?
You'll feel it grip. Level 6 is a firm hold that draws the skin up into the cup, and level 1 is a light pull, so you choose how deep it feels. Start low, then step up only if it feels good.

Does it hurt?
You set the suction, so start on level 1 with short sessions and step up only if it feels good. Stop if anything feels uncomfortable. One press on the release button lets go at any time.

Will it leave marks?
It can. Strong suction held in one place may leave round, temporary marks on the skin, which is normal with cupping. To keep marks light, use a lower level, keep sessions short, or glide it slowly over a little body oil.

Where can I use it?
On fleshy areas like the shoulders, upper back, arms, thighs and calves. Keep it off the face, the front of the neck, bones and joints, and any broken skin, bruises or varicose veins.

Can I use it on my own back?
You can reach your shoulders and upper back with one hand. For the middle of your back, it's easier to ask a partner or friend to hold it for you.

How do I charge and clean it?
It's cordless and charges by USB. To clean it, twist off the clear cup, wash it in warm, soapy water, dry it and refit it. Wipe the body with a dry cloth and keep it out of water.
